Truebeck’s Portland office was recognized with the Employee Engagement Corporate Impact Award at the 2026 Philanthropy Summit & Impact Awards, hosted by the Portland Business Journal. The regional event celebrates organizations driving meaningful community impact across Oregon and Southwest Washington, honoring companies that mobilize their employees to create measurable, lasting change beyond the workplace.

The award reflects the ongoing work of Truebeck’s Team for Tomorrow program, which launched in Portland in 2020 with a focus on volunteerism and community investment. Organized around six initiative areas — workforce training, health, education, youth, the environment, and military support — the program engages employees across all roles in hands-on service, mentorship, and partnerships with local nonprofits throughout the year.

Led by Director of Regional Construction Betsy Bice, the Portland office has deepened its impact through consistent collaboration with mission-driven organizations across the region. Key partners include Friends of the Children, Oregon Food Bank, Girls Build, the Architecture Foundation of Oregon’s Architects in Schools program, De La Salle North Catholic High School, Adopt One Block, We Believe in Portland, and the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk. Together, these partnerships have supported youth mentorship, food security, construction career exposure, design education, and neighborhood beautification efforts.

Team for Tomorrow is a company-wide effort that reflects Truebeck’s core values and its belief that building community matters as much as building projects. Truebeck contributes more than $350,000 annually to philanthropic causes, and this recognition affirms the Portland team’s commitment to investing in the people and neighborhoods that define the region.
