This world-class teaching and research facility for the University of California, Davis includes the world’s first LEED Platinum winery, brewery, and food-processing pilot plant. The project was delivered with the design-build model and implemented the highest sustainable features and best practices. The technologically advanced facility includes laboratories, classrooms, offices, controlled temperature rooms, and storage facilities. The project was awarded the 2011 DBIA Regional Project of the Year and numerous national awards, while also being the center of case studies on design-build, LEAN construction and sustainability.
