Designed to produce a bright and spacious modern workplace with serene exterior views, the new class A open office build-out for this real estate investment trust included 26-foot-tall windows, an exposed truss ceiling, six- and eight-station work clusters, centrally-located main conference room with glass-wall enclosure, additional conference rooms, guest lounge, hoteling center, break areas, and reception. Considering the importance of sound attenuation and office/conference room privacy to the client and overall project design, special attention was paid to glazing, ceiling, drywall, and wall covering acoustics to reduce reverberation and diffuse overhead light.
