A drug developer working on treatments across a range of conditions related to rare genetic diseases, ChemoCentryx found their new headquarters by becoming the first tenant in the “Alexandria Center for Life Science” in San Carlos.

The 75,172sf lab and office build-out includes chemistry labs, hazardous occupancy spaces (H-rooms), a nitrogen gas storage tank, a chemical storage enclosure, office space, and a new spiral staircase modeled after the helical structure of DNA connecting their 5th and 6th floor space. With a focus on discovering, developing, and commercializing new treatments, ChemoCentryx’s new home will ensure they have the resources to push beyond “good enough” and strive for a totally new way of healing.
