Second Harvest of Silicon Valley is committed to doing whatever it takes to end hunger in our community. That means distributing nutritious food to nearly every neighborhood in Silicon Valley. This newly expanded state-of-the-art facility, situated on a 10-acre site, will aid in their ongoing effort to serve food and grocery products to nearly 500,000 people every month in the community with areas for food sorting, cold storage facilities, a clean room for dry food packaging and distribution, and events and volunteer mixed-use space. It also has offices, a secured lobby, receiving and pick-up area, and parking for over 450 vehicles. This facility will be used to receive, store, process, and distribute food throughout the Bay Area for communities in need.
