Truebeck Construction is pleased to announce the topping out of the El Camino Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Sunnyvale, California. The topping out ceremony on October 29, 2025, celebrated the completion of the project’s structural steel frame.

This moment marks a tremendous milestone for the project that broke ground in January 2025. Developed by PMB in partnership with Lifepoint Health, the three-story, 63,000sf hospital will be a state-of-the-art facility offering specialized inpatient rehabilitation services for individuals recovering from injuries, illnesses, or surgical procedures.Designed to meet OSHPD-1 standards and California’s Title 24 energy requirements, the hospital will include 52 private patient rooms and a subterranean parking garage. The facility’s physical therapy gym will feature advanced rehabilitation technology, including robotic-assisted therapy, cooking and transfer therapy, audiology services, and an outdoor therapy garden. It will also house 12 specialized patient rooms designed for individuals with brain injuries who require a low-stimulation environment. On-site services will include a full kitchen and pharmacy to support comprehensive patient care. The next phase of construction will include completion of the exterior skin, installation of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical equipment, and the build-out of the interior spaces.“The El Camino Health Rehabilitation Hospital allows us to expand access to high-quality rehabilitation services and further solidifies El Camino Health’s growing reputation as Silicon Valley’s healthcare partner of choice,” said Andreu Reall, Vice President of Strategy at El Camino Health. “This new facility is not just about providing rehabilitation services while patients are in treatment—it’s about supporting them beyond their stay. With dedicated transitional services, we aim to help patients regain independence and successfully return to their everyday lives.” “This facility will be a model of innovation and care, combining advanced rehabilitation technologies with thoughtful design and construction to support healing and recovery,” said Bob Hostetler, Project Executive at Truebeck Construction. “Reaching this milestone is a testament to the collaboration and dedication of every partner involved, and we’re proud to help bring this transformative healthcare environment to life.”PMB and Lifepoint Health are nationally recognized for their commitment to delivering innovative, patient-centered healthcare environments.
