Truebeck Construction had the opportunity on October 8, 2019 to formally accept the Engineering News-Record (ENR) award for K-12 education at the ENR Best Projects Awards ceremony. Judges awarded Truebeck for its recent renovation and expansion of Lick-Wilmerding High School.

Nick Pera, Chief Operating Officer at Truebeck, was the spokesperson representing the Lick-Wilmerding project team. The team consisted of representatives from Truebeck, Lick-Wilmerding High School, EHDD Architects, Guttman & Blaevoet, and Integral Group.

“We’re so proud to win this award. On a personal level, this project meant a lot. It’s not often you get to go back and work on your high school. Working with the whole Truebeck team, EHDD Architects, and the Lick-Wilmerding administration was a high point of the project,” said Nick Pera CCO of Truebeck.

ENR annually hosts a regional award for different categories in the construction industry. These include areas such as K-12 education, higher education, infrastructure, worship, and many more.
