This tenant improvement project for Davita is located in the White Road Medical Office Building. The space includes 5,600sf on the first floor with 18 stations for OSHPD-III kidney dialysis equipment in addition to office and conference space. The clinic has many unique features including one-hour rated acoustical ceilings and open web joists to help maximize ceiling heights fire dampers at the grilles and fueseal piping for the sanitary waste system. Davita modified the original layout which required modifications to the structural steel relocation of the mechanical shafts and the re-design of the lobby stairs. Another major challenge involved the air conditioning units which were provided during the construction of the shell. The units did not have adequate clearance to their intake systems to meet OSHPD-III requirements so the team relocated all of the units and modified the roof structure to support the new positioning.
